A challenge coin is coin minted for a military unit, civilian organization, clubs, and individuals, bearing its organization’s insignia, given to members of that unit as a gift or token of appreciation to someone who earned it or bought it. They have become one of the hottest hobbies in collecting in the 21^st century and the field gets larger everyday serving unique and special coins.
